Holt Festival - 21-27 July 2019

The Holt Festival is great fun, with music, conversation, dance, fine art, children's entertainment and a fringe festival.

Holt is a place where butchers, fishmongers and green grocers still thrive and galleries, cafés, restaurants and interesting, independent shops are plentiful.

In the summer months Holt is a magnet for visitors to the North Norfolk Coast and all year round residents of the surrounding brick and flint hamlets and villages, gather here. Christmas shopping in Holt is famous too. But excitingly, during festival week, briefly and dazzlingly, it is home to musicians, poets, actors, dancers, artists and comedians.

There are venues all over town including performances at the wonderful church, the Auden Theatre at Gresham’s School, in the local independent Holt Bookshop, the Holt Community Centre, local hotels and in the really special, rather magical, Open-Air Theatre in the Woods also at Gresham’s School.

If you’re looking for cultural nourishment, belly laughs and the pleasure of seeing top-flight internationally recognised performers, have a look and book in for some of this year’s events.
