Well, we feel really lucky to be so very close to The Duck Inn in Stanhoe. It has become a real hotspot under the ownership of Chef and front of House team Ben and Sarah Handley. They have won a truly impressive, and well deserved range of awards and plaudits, including the Waitrose/Good Food Guide Regional restaurant of the year and the GQ food and drink award Best Pub - and seriously, the list goes on and on - have a look at their website for more. But also, it is a great local pub, serving reliably delicious and interesting food, without forgetting that there is always someone who wants a fabulous steak and chips and they deliver it all professionally and in a really warm and friendly way. Another wonderful local place that we really love.
